Bought this unit off of recommendation from others who have EdenPURE. Bought a unit for my daughters room, as long as on high it worked fine, but put it on low the motor fluctuated like it was bad. Premiere unit with LCD and air purification system will not run because it says it's tipped over. Tried unplugging and resetting. Tricked it once and ran til we shut it off. Then same thing. Customer service suggested placing it on its side for 45 minutes. Really!?!? We did. Says its tipped over. Surprise!! Tricked it again by unplugging, wait 60 seconds, plug back in and bump up the temp setting... Read more

We purchased the Gen4 Model in 2011. Since then the unit has been sent in for repair at least 5 times. Last year the the model was returned twice due to a malfunction. This year the model was returned again for malfunctioning. The unit was sent back to the company on Oct. 8th, 2014. This has resulted in several phone calls to the company inquiring about the status of our repaired/ replaced... Read more

Cord over heated and melted my outlet. Edenpure refused to do anything, horrible customer service. Could have burned my house down if I wasn't home. Researched and looks like this is a common problem but yet they refuse to recall them. I tried it in another outlet and kept a close eye in it within 5 minutes the cord a plug were so hot I couldn't even touch them. The only thing eden pure offered... Read more

We bought a Ededpure and had to send it back because it didn't work, kept saying it as on it's side. Returned it paid more money for better one so we thought and guess what? You got it. it's doing the same thing... What the ***. Does anyone else have this problem?? Is there some thing that can fix the problem? They say to reset it but that does nothing, I want a heater that is not going to run up... Read more

Got the gen 2 heater in January 2014 to keep our rv heated thru the winter. Ran good for a month or so and went to check rv and unit was not functioning at all. I called and they sent me paid ship label. I sent it back . I in a few weeks I got a edenpure classic sent. Thought that was nice a upgrade. I used only few times after that for it was April now. I didn't want a repaired one but I wanted a new one as I have a 5 yr warranty. Read the fine print! I have an ill mother and even with my house heat on 75 degrees she is still cold due to her illness so I didn't want to be without a unit. Purchased the a unit in 2010, did not live up to the hype. Exchanged for the Signature Series. Only used the unit for 3 months out of the year and only for part of that time for no longer than 8 hrs at a time. The unit no longer works. When we contacted the company they said our warranty had expired. They didn't care that the unit was rarely used and was kept maintained (cleaning filters, etc).... Read more

walked into room and it was filled with smoke..toxic fumes from top plastic melting was bad,,,pulled all plugs in room and opened windows.. dragged heater outside..was too hot to touch and so was run..we could have been killed if we went to bed normal time...so scared...unable to reach company...will keep trying and send pics to them...didn't keep box because it was my second one...first was...
